17th November – Acoustic Sessions at Cobbles

After the huge success of last months gig with the incredible John Nicholas on his Runaway tour (pictured above), we’ve been asked so many times when the next one is – So we’ve decided to make it a regular thing..

Last month was amazing! We were packed out.. We cleared the bar of furniture, set up a stage of pallets and the evening was taken over by the three incredible talents (John Nicholas, Pay the Man and Iolo Edger) who we had playing on the night. The beer was flowing, there was dancing and singing along from the crowds which created a truly special vibe in the barn!

So we’re doing it again, every second Friday of the month, kicking off with Friday November 17th, we have three amazing local acts with us..

The absolutely beautiful folkey tones of Charlotte Fahey.. I saw Charlotte playing in the Bridgend Street Roots festival and she stopped me in my tracks. Her voice is stunning.. goosies just thinking of it!

Followed by Cerys John, Cerys played in our Autumn Garden Festival this time last year.. again another huge talent.. Cerys has an amazing style and a voice that will blow you away.. a melodic storyteller with influences of indie & folk.

And to send us off into the night is Lloyd Thomas, many of you will know Lloyd from behind the bar at our friends in town – The Coach! Lloyd is an outstanding musician, with huge charisma and a performance that you cannot help but sing and dance along too..

As always, we’ll have a fully stocked bar with lots of local craft beer, lager, ale and cider and plenty of the rest too!

It’s £5 admission with ticket prices going towards paying the acts.. you can buy your tickets in advance following the link below or provided there is tickets left, show up on the night and pay on the door..

See you there!
